OPENING CEREMONIES: Commander Verville called the meeting to order at 1000 hours, 13 MAY. Opening ceremonies were held according to VFW Ritual. Seventeen Post 11447 members were present.
ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS: The Roll Call was taken by Adjutant Burnett. Twelve Officers were present.

MINUTES: Commander asked if the minutes from the previous meeting had been posted. The Adjutant said that a copy of the minutes were posted on the bulletin board and sent to members via email, also posted on our websites. There was no changes to the minutes. The Adjutant made the motion to accept the minutes as posted, seconded by Comrade Simms, motion carried.
QUARTERMASTER REPORT: Commander called for the report of the Quartermaster:
QM Burnett presented the report and made the motion to accept the report as audited. Seconded by Comrade Wright, motion carried. The report is on file, see the QM if you would like to see the entire report.
SERVICE OFFICER REPORT: Comrade Doty our Acting Service Officer has move to Alaska. There will be a burial service for USAF Veteran R. Alday, on 14 May, at Clark Cemetery.

COMMANDER CALLED FOR COMMITTEE REPORTS:
MEMBERSHIP REPORT: QM Burnett gave the report. This report has been updated since the meeting.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: School fees for registration of students has been paid, P20,000 ($455). School supplies will be purchased and given to the children around 30 May.
POST HOUSE/BUILDING COMMITTEE: Canteen was in the red this month, but this is normal this time of the year with payments for taxes usually due in April. Rent has also gone up this month.
HOSPITAL/HOME VISITS BY POST MEMBERS: CDR Verville gave the report for APR visits. 45 members made 45 visits to see 116 vets, spent 127 hours in visits, traveled 707 miles and gave $87.58 in gifts. Total credited for APR was $2971.27.
BUDDY POPPY CHAIRMAN: Buddy Poppy donations were P750 ($17).
VFW NATIONAL HOME FOR CHILDREN: Commander asked the Chaplain to say a prayer for our National Home for Children.

Comrade Wilson said that you can process Philippine Passports at the Marquee Mall in Angeles City.
Comrade Simms said that Tony Grimm Post 2485 is trying to set up a Blood Bank, maybe with participation from visiting ships.
VA Outreach at the Post home on 28 May, contact the RAO in Subic to register.
Charter which was draped in memory of Post member Jay Hammond last month will remained draped in memory of Comrade Sturges who was buried 20 April.
The aircon in the front room is nearing its end, we purchased it used about 8 years ago. It was recently repair and working okay, but getting old.

Fifty/fifty: 50/50 was won by Comrade Hinson who donated his share (P725) to the Scholarship fund. A total of P1450 was collected. Thank you Joe.
