Scratch was called to order at 1405 by the Seam Squirrel
There were 9 Pup Tent11 Cooties at the Scratch
Opening ceremonies were IAW MOC Rituals.
Roll call was held: 6 Shavetails were in attendance, 2 absent (1 excused).

Seam Squirrel asked if there was Degree Work to be completed:No Degree Work
Seam Squirrel asked if the minutes from the last Scratch had been posted: Hungry Cootie said that the Minutes for the FEB Scratch were posted at the Post home. No changes have been received. Motion to accept minutes as posted seconded by Cootie #62, Cootie # 85 made the motion. No discussion. Motion carried
SERVICE OFFICER REPORT: Several members are not well. Currently Mike Best is at home, but had been going to Lourdes Hospital several times a month for chemotherapy. Since the meeting Mike had been admitted for several days at Lourdes and put in ICU. Back home now but confined to bed. Dave Langan still not well and Frank Hilliard still not 100%. Note: Comrade Dave Snyder, who died two weeks ago will be buried on 4 May at Clark Veterans Cemetery at 1000 hours

Seam Squirrel asked if there was a Cootie or Family Member of a Cootie in distress: Cootie No. 65 still resting at home, goes to the hospital several times a week for chemo therapy. Not too many visitors, he would like to see more Cootie #81 resting at home, still recovering from hip surgery.
Seam Squirrel asked for the report of the CCDB: Report was given in detail. Cootie # 62 seconded a motion to accept the report as presented. Motion made by Cootie # 86. Motion carried. Cash and Bank total was $1750.93, cash in the General Fund $716.42 and in the Hospital Fund $1034.51 as of 1 MAR 2017
REPORT OF COMMITTES:
Hospital Chairman Report: Chairman gave the report for FEB visits. 43 Cooties made 43 visits, saw 62 patients, spent 129 hours in visits and travel 1414 miles. Gifts $43, Total for Feb $3138.
Membership: As of 28 FEB we have 16 Life and 15 Annuals for a total of 31 active Coots. Annual 2017 dues can be paid if you havenâ€™t done so. See the CCDB.
National Home Prayer: Delivered by the Sky Pilot.
Nominations for Election of Shavetails was held and the election of Shavetails was completed. Following the election, the Shavetails were installed by Cootie Mike Verville, who is MOC Supreme District 6 Hospital Chairman. List of new Shavetails will be listed at the end of the minutes.
Cootie #61 seconded a motion for the PT to purchase a reef for an upcoming RSL ceremony not to exceed P650. Cootie #79 made the motion. Motion Carried.

All Cooties should become National Home and Paddy Daddy life members. You can find info in the ROF and Typhoon. Also a RED STAR Life Member ($100 plus LM dues if a annual member). Any questions see the Seam Squirrel or CCDB.
